Testimonal Letters From Our Chiropratic Patients
Dear Phil:
Subject: Letter of Recommendation and Appreciation
What can I say? Since my family met you during the Herndon Festival, our health has
changed for the better. I was a skeptic at first and now a believer in Chiropractic care and in your
wellness program.
I didn't think that I had any serious problems with the exception of the neck and shoulder
stiffness, which seemed to occur all too frequently. My wife sometimes had pain in the
small of her back - especially if she had to bend over to pick up something. My daughter
didn't think that she needed Chiropractic care, but after the screening and speaking with you, she
realized that her past sports activities may have negatively affected her body. We were now ready to
seek the benefits of Chiropractic care.
On my first adjustment with you, I discovered that I no longer had a ringing in my left ear. 1
didn't realize that for qUite some time 1 had this ringing and just didn't notice it. The problem hasn't
completely gone away, but because of my continued sessions, it has improved greatly. (I became a
believer at that moment).
Other things occurred that I didn't expect, such as:
You were right. When we first met, you said that 1 would notice an improvement in my health. I didn't realize just how right you were. I can't believe how long I've lived and endured pain that 1 didn't have to.
You not only know how to treat the ailment, but you are very good at teaching wellness to those of us who take it for granted.
Thank you for helping our family become healthy through your wellness program.

I first met Dr Phil at a company sponsored Health Fair. He was giving free Chiropractic stress tests. We discussed the issues I had with lower back pain and occasional muscle spasms, the lack of mobility in my upper back and neck, the dowager's hump I had developed, and a medical condition I have known as Systemic Lupus.
When I first started receiving adjustments I immediately noticed that the chronic headaches I had were less frequent and less intense. I also noticed increased mobility in my back and neck. I began sleeping better at night and found myself feeling better in general.
Dr Phil recommended several lifestyle changes that might help with my Lupus and overall health. The results have been wonderful. I have more energy, I am off one of my medications and I no longer need to constantly take anti inflammatories for my joint pain. I have shed about ten pounds and have more energy then I have had in months.
Dr Phil supports being proactive in your health. He sees well ness as a big picture, not one symptom. His office staff is friendly, courteous and very supportive.

I'm currently fourteen and my first time at Phil's office was about six months ago. Iwas experiencing daily headaches and that all changed after coming to Phil's office. My sister is one of Phil's patients, she took me to Phil's office to see what could be done about my headaches. After my first appointment Iwas completely satisfied.
During the first week my headaches had gone away and that was such a relief. And after the first month of going to Phil, I had no headaches. For Christmas I went out of the country for two weeks. During the first week I came back, my headaches came back. So I went as soon as possible to Phil and eventually the headaches disappeared again. Several weeks ago I was removing a sweater and my neck and back made this huge crack. It hurt so much and I couldn't even move my neck, so my sister took me to Phil and after two days my neck felt as if nothing had happened.
What I like the most about going to Phil's office is the positive feeling you get as soon as you come in the office door. I have never been so satisfied with the way my body is feeling and Iam glad that my sister took me to Phil. And Iwant to thank his incredibly friendly staff (that's you Cathy). And I also want to thank Phil for giving excellent chiropractic care.

Dear Phil,
I've just comc upon my one-year anniversary receiving chiropractic adjustments from you. I've found the last year to be highly beneliclal for my overall state of health and well being. The benefits have been gradual but have become more visible to me over time.
One year ago, I had chronic back pain, I had trouble breathing though my nose, and I felt an overall lack of energy. I had been getting headaches for a long time and couldn't figure out what the cause was. Now, after working with you for the last year, I have noticed that all these pains have been reduced. I t1nally realized that my headaches were largely emanating from my spine. This was a big revelation for me as I had thought in the past that either my jaw or eyes Were the cause. When I came to you, I was very concemed about some spasms I was having in my legs and arms when I lied down. A Doctor had told me that these were "normal" with aging. I didn't feel this was right. I found that these spasms began to go away once I began chiropractic care. They have now become rare. I feel that I've also benefited from some of the concepts you've outlined in your talks.
I feel that my thinking and speaking are improved and that the overall increase in well being I've experienced has touched other areas of my life. Thank you very much for your help over that last year. It appreciate it very much and recommend it to others.

MY STORY
When 1came to see Phill was without a doubt spiraling down to what would he the lowest depths that I have ever experienced. It seems that for much ofthe last five years I had heen battling with anxiety, which caused me to not sleep well at all. In fact, I experienced frequent and long stretches of total insomnia during this time.
Looking back now, I see how the constant anxiety and worrying was heginning to take its toll on my body. The strange thing about anxiety disorders in some cases is that you don't realize how bad you are, as it usually starts slowly and gets worse over a period of years until you are left gazing at life through the distorted lens ofanxiety and depression.
I didn't realize how bad I had actually gotten!! Now, the only thing that kept me going was exercise and jogging. I loved to run and whil.e I ran my anxiety would drift away as the adrenaline in me increased.
Running became my "drug", in a way, to fight the anxiety that had slowly and steadily invaded my lite. Well, in June of 2000, I began to feel pain in my lower back after I ran. I tried to rest a week or two in hopes that it would disappear but it did not. In fact, it was getting worse and each time I ran I could feel my back breaking down and the muscles tensing up totally.
To make a long story short, I had an x-ray and saw my doctor. The x-ray showed very mild arthritis in my hip, but one of the doctors said that this was nothing and that the back pain was almost certainly not related to that. Well, my anxiety had already pounced on the idea ofarthritis and I began to have constant fears that something was very wrong with my lower back joints. My doctors did tests to rule out arthritis type diseases and tried to assure me that it was probably nothing. Still, my anxiety had turned in to full-blown hypochondria and I could not rationalize my pain or my fears away. I could not run because ofthe pain and so my main outlet for stress was taken away. This was the beginning ofthe long spiral down into total depression and darkness.
Through this I came to know that what I am dealing with is Obsessive - Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Fibromyalgia, although I did not know this until December of 2000 as I was seeing Phil and working through the healing process. Now, I first came to See Phil in August of 2000. Phil set me up on a three times per week schedule of care and listened to my story patiently and lovingly. Phil let me know that we could treat my whole person, mind and body, and that it would take some tinle to get me back to a healthy state ofheing. As I look back on it, Phil did not immediately lift me out of my dive to despair but what he did was slow my tragic descent.
My anxiety had grown into such a huge monster at this point that there was no way a quick fix would happen. So for three times a week, every week for about three or four months I came to see Phil. He would listen to how I wa~, evaluate how treatment was going, and then do what he saw he needed to do on each visit. Slowly and gradually Phil helped to pull me out of that terrible nosedive. Phil's care had sustained me through the darkest and most dangerous part ofthis trial, and then I began to level offunder Phil's care by December. Finally, spring is approaching I am feeling much, much better. I am sleeping hetter, am more relaxed throughout the day, and the pains in my lower back has greatly improved. I still see Phil every week and I would not have it any other way!
The point I want to stress is that Phil had told me that the healing process would take time. That tirst we had to stop the bleeding, so to speak, then we had to stabilize my condition, then we could build upon it and give my body the time and chance to grow healthy again, both my mind and body, that is. I also want to add that my other doctors were very encouragi.ng and cool. They encouraged me to continue treatment with Phil and they did their best to calm my anxi.eties while we did some medical tests.
In conclusion, I want to add that Phil was a major and vital part of my recovery to health. I see Phil as one of the MAIN instruments in helping me to overcome anxiety and to undo the pains and injuries that years ofconstant anxiety had caused. I really dig Phil's outlook and his approach as well, as it is totally holistic and based on love and cnergy. I can almost now look back on this entire painful ordeal as a "blessing in disguise" as it showed me and reminded me of what is important and true in life. Not only were my anxieties and pains greatly healed but also my outlook and attitude were touched to the core. I felt that all the people around me through this tilne played a significant ro Ie in "saving" my life. I thank God, my family, my friends, and my doctors. Phil defmitely fits into this group, as I will never be able to repay him for all the care he has given me as he helped to nlstore my sanity and health. I will never be the same after this experience, and I mean that in the best way. I know the journey is not fully over, but I am far en0ugh down the path to see that love, hope, and care will always triumph over fear, paiJl and despair!! I would recommend Phil to anyone who is experiencing a lack of health or to anyone who would simply like to maximize their health.
