Dr. Andrew Boswell

Rockville Clinic Director, DC

Dr. Andrew Boswell is the Clinic Director of RxWellness Spine & Health in Rockville, Maryland. He spent his childhood amidst the farming and livestock communities of western Kansas. Since a very early age, he has been heavily involved in outdoor activities, hunting and fishing, and sports of every kind. His interest in Chiropractic was born out of two events: a broken back due to a sports injury at 16 years of age, and a nearly fatal car accident where he broke both of his legs when he was 21. The problems that developed due to these injuries, and the subsequent treatment that he received, led him to a pursue a career in Chiropractic. He went on to earn his Bachelors degree in Pre-Medicine/Life Sciences from Kansas State University and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

He started his chiropractic career in private practice in Illinois, where he primarily worked with families and young athletes. In 2012 he took advantage of a chiropractic business opportunity in Singapore, where he practiced for the next 9 years.

His first two years were spent helping to develop one of the busiest chiropractic clinics in Asia. Expanding upon this experience, he went on to become the Chief Clinical Officer for a prominent group of chiropractic clinics throughout Singapore. In 2018 he left this group to open The Spine and Nerve Centre, which specialized in Structural Correction of the spine and pelvis. Dr Andrew and his wife then made the decision to relocate to the DMV area in late 2020 to partner with RxWellness Spine & Health.

Dr Andrew is an international speaker and educator who regularly provides ergonomics workshops, injury prevention services, and Corporate Wellness Programs to various MNCs and SMEs. During his time in Singapore, he developed a unique Protect The Spine™ system, which helps to solve back and neck problems through a combination of education, self-analysis, self-treatment, and lifestyle awareness. He was the official chiropractor for the Singapore Baseball and Softball Association and was the first chiropractor to be appointed by the Singapore Olympic Medical Committee to care for the National Athletes at the Southeast Asian Games in 2015. He continues to spend his time as a chiropractic consultant, and as a mentor and coach to young men. He also enjoys staying active with his friends and family through strength training, golfing, playing sports, hiking, and hunting and fishing.

Dr Andrew is Board Certified in Chiropractic and Physiotherapy, and is Licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine as well as the Maryland Department of Health. He is currently working towards his International Certification in Sports Chiropractic, and has a particular interest in sports performance in young athletes. Dr Andrew takes a holistic approach to overall health, while focusing on Structural Correction™ of the spine and pelvis. This is accomplished without the use of drugs, surgeries, or aggressive therapies. Instead he uses Specific Chiropractic Corrections, Neuro-Structural Re-Patterning and a system of Joint-To-Joint Mobility to correct spine and nerve conditions over a pre-programmed period of time. He provides every patient with an individual plan of care, and takes great pride in his results. Over the last 10+ years he has helped thousands of people to manage their health problems, so they can continue doing the things they love most.
