Dr. Lorie Plaisance has enjoyed nearly three decades as a chiropractic physician, graduating from Southern California University of Health Sciences in 1991. She earned status as a Qualified Medical Evaluator for the state of California. Her post-graduate work has emphasized orthopedics, sports injuries, functional neurology, treatment of adverse effects of mechanical cord tension, postural restoration, female and pelvic floor issues.

She established Summit Chiropractic in Silverdale, WA in 2002, selling it in 2017 when her children launched into adulthood. Having established herself as a leader in patient care and recovery, she then served as the clinic director of a multi-disciplinary clinic in Bellevue, WA lecturing on PRP and stem cell therapies prior to relocating to the East Coast in 2019.

Dr. Plaisance implements manual and instrument-assisted adjusting, dry needling, cupping, and several other soft tissue modalities. With this integrated and goal-oriented approach, the focus is placed on restoring function, releasing old patterns, addressing issues of toxicity and tissue integrity.

The typical patient experience is to achieve their functional goals while becoming educated and empowered on self-care, enabling them to continue healing and living a life of health and wellness well beyond the active treatment period.

Dr. Plaisance has completed a Danskin Triathlon, several running events including the Seattle Rock & Roll half-marathon and any mud run she could find. In her down time, she enjoys golf, live jazz and coaching women to discover their health and life passions. She participated in the Patriot Project, providing chiropractic care to our Active Duty Military, their families and our Vets; WSCA Sports Council, Youth Mentorship/Task Force and YMCA Advisory Council.  Among her greatest accomplishments are her four children ages 18-36.
